Employee Awards

At a recent luncheon at Hill-Ray Plaza, Whitman Hospital recognized employees for the following milestone anniversaries, including 5 years – 7 recipients; 10 years – 9 recipients; 15 years – 2 recipients; 20 years – 2 recipients, and 25 years – 1 recipient.

Celebrations also included recognition for Employees of the Quarter and our 2012 Employee and Manager of the Year. Of our eight employees honored as employee of the quarter in 2012, one was selected as Employee of the Year. They were:

Rob Smith, respiratory therapist, employee of the year; and Curt McNeilly, Facilities Manager, manager of the year.

Our employees make our hospital such a great place to work and to receive care. Our patients also tell us we are doing a good job creating a caring environment. In our most recent reporting period, our patient ratings of our hospital are in the 97th percentile and our “would recommend” score is in the 99th percentile. We consistently score above the 95th percentile in these two measures, an indication of our overall patient experience. I am honored to work with such a caring group of employees and proud of the wonderful care they are providing to our patients and families.
