Clifford M. Imler

Clifford M. Imler, who was born Nov. 2, 1946, to Chauncy C. Imler and Dorcas D. Brose Imler in Colfax, died Jan. 19, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Merced, Calif.

He grew up in Potlatch, Idaho, on the family farm with three sisters: Mildred Imler Krasselt of Potlatch, Doriene Imler Morton of The Dalles, Ore. ,. and Grace Imler Engelhard of Spokane.

He attended Potlatch and Palouse elementary schools and graduated from Palouse High School in 1966. After graduating he enrolled in the U.S. Air Force in Spokane. He served as a jet engine mechanic from 1967 to 1970 and was honorably discharged at Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, Calif.

He married Cecelia Anne Johnston of Chowchilla, Calif., Feb. 2, 1973, and they lived in Merced. Surviving are a daughter, Jeanette (Jason) Martin; a son, Micah Imler, and four grandchildren, all of Merced.
