Mildred T. Nowack

The funeral for Mildred T. (Terry) Nowack, 85, was Saturday, Feb. 9, at Grace Lutheran Church in Potlatch with the Rev. Corey Laughary officiating. Burial followed at the Freeze Cemetery. She died Feb. 4, 2013, at the Seniors In Motion Adult Family Home at Cheney.

Born Oct. 7, 1927, at Potlatch to Leo and Lora McCown Nowack, she attended Potlatch schools and graduated from Potlatch High School in 1945.

Mildred moved to Spokane where she worked as a secretary for several insurance companies until she retired in 1990. She continued to live at Spokane at the Cathedral Plaza until she moved to Seniors In Motion at Cheney in December of 2012.

She enjoyed watching the Mariners baseball games, playing bingo and the horse races.

Survivors include one sister, Lora Neal, Garfield, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Spokane, Seniors In Motion, 11208 S. Garfield Rd., Cheney.
