A one-year grant to bring visual art to Colton School District is past the halfway point while plans are being made to keep the program going.

Last summer, the school district received $8,200 from the Inland Northwest Community Foundation for one year of at least six visual art sessions with instructors for each grade level.
The grant was written by Dahmen Barn manager Leslee Miller.
She and others now aim to raise $6,000 to continue the program next year.
