Uniontown sausage feed marks 60th

Cooks were busy in the kitchen preparing sausage meals for the hundreds of hungry folks on Sunday at the 60th annual Uniontown Sausage Feed. Tables in the basement of the community center were packed as sausage lovers enjoyed their meals. Ken Oenning, “head of the whole she-bang,” said they made 1,750 pounds of sausage and fed between 1,300 and 1,400 people. The feed has been known to serve as many as 1,700 people.
