Donald J. Miller
The funeral services for Donald J. Miller, 58, was Friday, March 8, at Kramer Funeral Home in Palouse with the Rev. Kathy Kramer officiating. Burial followed at the Freeze Cemetery, north of Potlatch. Mr. Miller died March 4 from injuries sustained in a one-car rollover accident on Garfield Road north of Potlatch.
Born Jan. 17, 1955, in Moscow to James and Clarice Gudmunson Ireland, he attended school in Potlatch and graduated from Potlatch High School in 1973. He later attended an automotive school at Lewis Clark State College.
He married Ynona Woolverton July 1, 1974, at Coeur d’Alene, and they lived at Potlatch where he worked for area farmers for several years.
His wife and son, Stanley, and mother-in-law Dorothy Woolverton died Sept. 2, 1994, in a car accident near Plaza and he was severely injured.
He enjoyed hunting, demolition derbies and raising cattle.
Survivors include two sons, Jeremy Miller and Justin Miller both of Potlatch; one daughter, Stacy Miller of Priest River, Idaho; his mother, Clarice Miller of Potlatch; step-father, Louis Miller of Kentucky; two brothers, Douglas Miller of Rathdrum, Idaho, and Doyle Miller of Potlatch; three sisters, Dorothy Davis of Seattle; Deloris Nelson of Kent, and Darlene Robinett of Garfield, and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Potlatch Ambulance Fund, Box 63, Potlatch, 83855.
