Colfax & Tekoa – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play & Learn – Creative play and sharing for preschoolers and parents every Friday. Palouse – 4 p.m. – meet Julie Kibler, author of Calling Me Home which was inspired by a family lore of her grandmother falling in love with a young black man in an era and locale that made the relationship impossible.

Colfax – 6:30 p.m. – Belly Dance - Gypsy Spirit Belly Dance offers free classes every Monday.

Palouse – 3:45 p.m. – Chess Club – Learn and share the art and skill of chess playing. Colfax – 4 p.m. – Board of Trustees Meeting – Open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend. Colfax – 6 p.m. – Book Club Meeting – Join the discussion of “Hitching Rides with Buddha” by Will Ferguson at the Colfax Golf Course. Everyone is welcome!

Colfax – Noon to 1 p.m. – Compost - Judi Gray from the Whitman County Recycling Department demonstrates how to turn ordinary household waste into compost. Tekoa – 2 to 4:30 p.m. – Ladies Craft Circle – Bring your project to work on while sharing and visiting with friends every Wednesday. Uniontown – 3:15 p.m. – After School Science - Elementary students are invited to After School Science with hands-on experiments.
