Jane Aune offers bridge instruction

Jane Aune of Colfax will offer beginning bridge classes each Tuesday and Thursday in April from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Colfax High School. The free classes are open to anyone interested in learning the basic skills and etiquette of the game.

A retired school teacher, Aune loves to play bridge and has taught many people to play the game. At the urging of library staff, she is offering her services to the community. Because the library’s meeting room schedule is completely booked, the classes will be at high school. Class materials and use of the high school facility will be provided with funds from the Institute for Museums and Library Services grant titled Transforming Life after 50.
