CAC seeks grant that could assist 4,500 people

Whitman County commissioners Monday approved for submission a $95,209 Community Development Block Grant by the Community Action Center of Whitman County in Pullman.

The Washington State Community Development Block Grant program provides money for services that primarily benefit low- to moderate-income people. The money is distributed from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
