Colton’s five-time champs honored by governor

Representatives of the Colton High School girls’ basketball team attended a champion’s luncheon at the Governor’s Mansion March 15. The event, hosted by Gov. Jay Inslee, featured state basketball champions in each classification. Also for Colton, before the luncheon, the Wildcat team received a House Resolution authored by Rep. Susan Fagan celebrating Colton’s five consecutive girls 1B basketball championships. Fagan, Rep. Joe Schmick and Sen. Mark Schoesler all greeted the Colton group and showed them around the Legislative Building.
