Farmington Mayor solicits heir

Farmington mayor Ron Dugan seeks a successor.

He was appointed last April and took the mayor’s oath vowing to take no pay or reimbursements for the job and leave office at the end of the term.

January 2014 will mark that conclusion, and the deadline to file for November’s election will be May 17.

So Dugan has been speaking out to promote the open position. At the Farmington City Council Monday night, he submitted a few comments on the subject.
