Festival to open for vendor applications

The National Lentil Festival will begin accepting applications for vendors April 1 for the Aug. 16 – 17 event which will have approximately 120 vendor openings. Registration deadline is Friday, June 14, at 5 p.m.

For both days of the festival, marketplace vendors will be located in the Spring Street parking lot and the Lentil Lane Food Court in Reaney Park. All vendor applications will be sold as two day spaces.

Friday night will feature the 350 gallon bowl of lentil chili free to festival goers as long as it lasts, as well as live music and beer and wine gardens. Saturday will kick off with the Grand Parade sponsored by Jess Ford of Pullman followed by live entertainment, the Legendary Lentil Cook-off, beer and wine gardens and more.

The festival is presented by the Pullman Chamber of Commerce, City of Pullman and Washington State University.
