League of Women Voters slates film on US, Canada care

An upcoming event sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Pullman will focus on healthcare in the U.S. and Canada.

Scheduled Monday, April 1, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Hecht Room at Neill Public Library in Pullman, the program is open to the public.

It will include excerpts from The Healthcare Movie, a documentary produced by a couple who have lived in Canada and the United States.

They are Laurie Simons, born in Canada, and her American husband Terry Sterrenberg.
