The Rosalia Fire Department completed the first of two days of rope rescue training last weekend. The volunteers worked off the former Milwaukee Railroad Bridge, now part of the John Wayne Trail at Rosalia, rappelling and rescuing “victims” hanging halfway down the bridge. They also spent time setting up haul systems. The training will continue Saturday.
