Mary Darlene Campbell

A memorial service for Mary Darlene Campbell, 76, Garfield, was March 20, at Garfield Community Church followed by a graveside service Monday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Grand Junction, Colo.

She died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at her home in Garfield.

Born July 1, 1936, to Walter and Mary Elizabeth (Clawson) Malleis, she graduated from Grand Junction High School and was attending Mesa State College until she met and married Kenneth L. Elliott April 6, 1956.

She loved her crafts, cooking, quilting, knitting and especially gardening.

She is survived by a sister Norma Jean Graham of Grand Junction; four children, Cynthia (Jim) Reid of Grand Junction, Keith (Patti) Elliott of Riverside, Calif., Kathleen (Eric) Webb and Sherry Spies; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
