National Lentil Festival seeks recipes for 2013 cook-off

The 25th anniversary of the National Lentil Festival is looking for recipes from across the country for this year’s competition, “The Legendary Lentil Cook-Off.”

Every year, the Legendary Lentil Cook-Off receives recipes that use lentils. In 2012, they received 127 recipes from 32 states and Canada.

This year, the festival will invite the top five finalists to prepare their recipes at the festival. These will be tasted by a panel of judges and by the first 100 festival goers.
