The Tekoa-Oakesdale-Rosalia softball team dropped to 6-8 on the season with an 11-3 home loss to Colton Tuesday night.
Mackenzie Reddish led the team in hitting, going 2 for 3 with two RBIs while Katie Renstrom also went 2 for 3.
M’Kenna Willey pitched all seven innings for the Nighthawks, allowing 15 hits and nine walks with three strikeouts. T.O.R. trailed just 4-3 in the fifth inning when Colton scored five runs to open up the game.
The Nighthawks had seven total hits in the game, along with 10 strikeouts.
“As long as we’re hitting, we’ll do well in the playoffs,” said T.O.R. coach Whitney Bowerman.
Her team will play next in three doubleheaders, beginning Saturday at DeSales, followed by games against Dayton and Tri-Cities Prep.
