Pre-schoolers plant veggies

Endicott

Margaret Schmick’s pre-school class and helpers strolled one block from their classroom at the Endicott School to the garden of Sharon Huff to plant potatoes and onions April 18. Every year pre-schoolers make this trek in the spring. In September they again go to the garden to harvest the potatoes and onions.

Mrs. Schmick and her helpers help them make mashed potatoes for a snack at school.

Endicott Community Club will sponsor the Endicott Town Yard Sale Day which will be May 18. This year there will be no fee for the yard sale listings. Sign up at Endicott Food Center to get on the map showing sales sites.
