Gather the patriots

The right of the people to keep and bear arms has been infringed!

Things are very different now than they were in 1776 when we rose up in rebellion and made it our business to kill the legitimate law enforcement officers of the day.

Back in the day, we had every kind of armament and weapons delivery platform that the government forces had: muskets and cannons; horses, wagons and sailing ships (battleships!). The British and Canadians referred to our battleships We referred to them as privateers, because they were owned by private persons.

Our communication systems, too, were equal to the systems available to the government.

The opposite situation exists today, because the Second Amendment has been disemboweled.

“A well regulated militia...” is that the National Guard? Are they supposed to protect us from the federal government forces? Very not. Uncle Sam just spent a trillion dollars and ten years, training the Guard to suppress a rebellious people.

The American military has changed from the Draft, which was just us and we weren’t likely to attack ourselves, to a professional army which might be loyal to the government, instead of being loyal to us.

Should the day come, when the government openly sends Homeland Security or another of its forces against the American people, we can not look to the local cops to protect us. Local cops have sided with the World Trade Organization, against the people of their cities. When we launch our revolution, we’ll need the kind of arms that will sweep the streets clean of forces wearing protective gear, and using armored personnel carriers.

The revolution in Syria is teaching us that we’ll need heavy arms to counter the government’s bombs, artillery and drones.

Common sense says that to restore the Second Amendment to functionality, we need to roll back all of the government’s restrictions, so we can, as in days of yore, possess and practice with all military arms and communications.

But, but, but, before we open our arteries in a second effort to fly the flag of liberty in this country, share with me the big secret. What form of government would we have? How could it be superior to the paperwork we now have?

I think the Second Amendment is dead. For plan B, let’s focus on politics: zero political participation by artificial persons, total transparency of political money. And someone has raided our treasury. Do we need Glass Steagal? Do we need to arrest the bankers, like the Icelanders did? Let’s gather the Patriots, and make it happen!
