Rosalia – 9:45 to 11 a.m. – Battle Days Children’s Parade – Join the Rosalia Library and the Rosalia chamber for the annual Children’s Parade. This year’s theme is “How Does Your Garden Grow?”

Monday, June 3

Colfax – 6:30 pm – Beginning Belly Dance – Stretch and tone your body while you learn the ancient art of belly dancing.

Tuesday, June 4

Farmington & Rosalia – Storytime – Bring in the little ones for fun stories, songs, crafts and adventures every Tuesday. Check the calendar for times and themes. Colfax – 11 a.m. – Whitman County Library Friends Business Meeting – Open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.

Colfax - Hundreds of books-on-tape are being given away for free.

Thursday, June 6

LaCrosse – Dig into Reading with Caves and Caverns – Kids from newborn to age 12 are invited to kick start this year’s first Summer Reading program with stories, activities and prizes! Colfax – 7 p.m. – Banner Artist Reception – The entire community is invited to celebrate the Colfax Banner Artists during a reception. All banners from yesterday and today are on display, artists introduced and the People’s Choice Award is presented.
