Paulson herons top art contest

Loretta Paulson, far left, won both the people's choice award and the juried art award with her painting of two herons June 6 at the Colfax Arts Council reception at the library. Ashley Richman, left in front, won the people's choice award in the juvenile division with her rendition of the Perkins House. Other entrants this year are front row, Lynnea Vantrease with Spring Poppies on the Palouse and Chais Anderson with Go Cougs.
