Red Cross seeks hometown heroes

The Inland Northwest Chapter of the American Red Cross is seeking nominations for the 2013 Hometown Heroes Awards to recognize the unsung heroes during its annual luncheon in November.

Nomination deadline is Sept. 10.

The categories include humanitarian, animal rescue, workplace safety, military, medical, law enforcement or dispatch, fire safety, wilderness rescue, water safety, community partner and local disaster hero.
