Cougar quilt colors next to Dahmen barn

Junette Dahmen, donor of the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown and next door neighbor, recently spearheaded a quilt block project for her small red barn.

Junette and others selected a star block pattern, then volunteers painted it on plywood and installed it on her barn.

The block is done in Junette’s favorite colors, crimson and gray, to demonstrate her passion for WSU Cougar teams.

Junette and her late husband, Steve, traveled with the football team when they played California in the Tokyo bowl and traveled with the basketball team in Russia.
