A superior jury Aug. 19 convicted Reylinda Alvarado, 31, Toppenish, of third degree theft for her part in taking money from the back room of the Chevron Station in Pullman. Sentencing for Alvardo has been scheduled for Aug. 30.
Charges were filed against her last May after a Pullman police investigation in the case. According to the arrest report, Alvarado and another woman went into the station July 14, 2010. Alvarado talked with the station attendant while the other woman entered an “employees only” area of the station and took $478 from the safe.
