CLUBS & YOUTH GROUPS

Hospital Auxiliary

The first meeting of the year will be Tuesday, Sept. 3, at 1:30 p.m. in the administration annex meeting room at the hospital. Anyone interested in supporting the hospital through the auxiliary is welcome to join.

Officers for the year are Shirley Simmons, president; Diane Clark, vice president; Polly Anderson, secretary, and Margie Geiger, treasurer.

Rosalia Garden Club

August “Garden of the Month” winners were Paul and Amanda Rich. Over Memorial Day weekend,they put in a new landscape design due to a concrete block wall breaking down in the front of their home along the sidewalk where children walked to school.

They chose to have a low maintenance landscape design and selected shrubs and perennials.

Hudkins daughter born

Hadley Ann Hudkins was born Aug. 13 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane at seven pounds, two ounces, to Rob and Sara Hudkins of Rosalia. Maternal grandparents are Tom and Peggy Henning of Rosalia. Paternal grandparents are Jim Hudkins of Deer Park and Marilyn Hudkins of Rosalia. Maternal great-grandparents are Gene and Gwelda Henning and Elton and Diane Hill, all of Malden. The baby joins Kinsey, 3.

AT WHITMAN HOSPITAL & MEDICAL CENTER

Moore, Everett Allen, born Aug. 24 at Whitman Hospital and Medical Center at seven pounds to Katie and Forrest Moore of Pomeroy. Maternal grandparents are Jeff and Diana Ruchert. Paternal grandparents are Jeff and Beverly Chandler and Jerry and Cosette Moore. The baby joins a sister, Emory.
