Small triathlete competes

Ryan Libey, 4, of Moscow participated in her first triathlon in Coeur d’Alene Saturday, Sept. 7. Children from ages 4 to 10 competed in the event sponsored by Kootenai Regional Hospital. They swam 250 yards, bicycled for two miles, and ran for a half mile. Ryan came in first in her age category. She is the daughter of Patrick and Dawn Libey, and the granddaughter of Gary and Trudy Libey of Colfax and Pam and Bob Stangland and Melanie and Rob Heacock of Spokane.
