Colfax’s Carrie Vielle October featured artist

Carrie Vielle will be the featured Artist of the Month Thursday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m. in the Colfax Library. During the presentation, Carrie will share her work, her inspiration and techniques. Meet the Artist is a free community event sponsored by the Colfax Arts Council and Whitman County Library.

Carrie has been drawing and painting her entire life. She was born in Victoria, B.C., into a family and community immersed in the arts. Her family members include fine artists, photographers/film makers, actors, writers, musicians and composers, all of whom enriched Carrie’s arts education.
