Creative 'placemaking' at Uniontown

A cow created from discarded metal pieces awaits installation at the north end of Uniontown Tuesday. The public art, created by John Bergen of Lewiston, is part of a National Endowment for the Arts’ Our Town “Creative Placemaking” grant won by the Uniontown Community Development Association in 2012. A metal tractor and trailer sculpture, also by Bergen, was installed at the south end of town in September.
