Frank Lazcano records

A notice of transfer of records of the Frank Lazcano proceedings from superior court to the District III State Appeals Court in Spokane was filed in court here. The cover letter noted nine volumes of the proceedings in the Frank Lazcano case have been sent to the appeals court.

A Whitman County jury convicted Frank Lazcano March 1 of felony murder following his trial here. He was later sentenced to 25 years in prison on the conviction for the fatal shooting of Marcus Schur at Malden Dec. 27, 2011.
