Moon over the Palouse

A full harvest moon shines over stubble fields north of Rosalia one recent night. The clouds cleared enough for an excellent view of the moon, but the weather turned and rain, along with wind, covered the area, even prompting a wind advisory last weekend. The rain was welcomed by farmers who had already seeded some winter grain as fields were very dry and dusty. Weather forecasts indicate less rain and cool temperatures through the weekend.
