Church projects celebrate 25 years

Members of Peace Lutheran Church Sept. 22 donned their new “God’s Work, Our Hands” t-shirts to undertake projects to celebrate the 25th anniversary as an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

The local celebration included work at Hamilton and Eells parks which included edging, weeding, raking and turning over wood chips under the play equipment.

Members also planned to bake and deliver cookies to residents at Whitman Health & Rehab Center and The Courtyard Assisted Living.
