Rosalia runs Oakville 74-0 at EWU

The Rosalia Spartans took to Roos Field in Cheney last Saturday against Oakville and came back with a 74-0 win.

In the fourth game of their eight-man independent schedule, the Spartans’ (3-1) Craig Nelson led the team with 13 carries for 170 yards rushing and five touchdowns (one a catch).

Clay Shelton had five catches for 110 yards and two touchdowns, along with 28 yards rushing.

In addition, Cody Thornton carried the ball six times for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

In the air for Rosalia, senior quarterback Ryan Maley completed 7 for 13 passes for 128 yards and three touchdowns.

Rosalia will play next at undefeated Troy, Idaho Friday night at 7 p.m.
