Petition against skate site nets 93

A Palouse resident submitted a petition of 93 signatures against placing a proposed skate park in Hayton Greene Park.

Kelly Dow collected signatures on Palouse Day, Sept. 14, which endorsed the statement; “Petition to Save Our Park – By signing below I acknowledge that while I may or may not support a skate park, I oppose a skate park be built anywhere within our beautiful city park.”

Dow reported her results to the Palouse City Council Sept. 24, saying she spent four hours on Palouse Day collecting the signatures.
