Tick Klock begins remodel project

Work on the addition and remodeling of Tick Klock Drug store on Main Street in Colfax began last week. The building permit listed the cost of the project at $50,000. Thompson & Sons Construction of Chatteroy is the contractor for the remodeling in the space formerly occupied by Main Street Books. The adjoining store space on the north side of the present building will be linked by an arch. About 65 percent of the addition will be used for retail displays and the remaining space will be used for the pharmacy.
