Uniontown plans Halloween party

Uniontown Community Building will host its annual all-ages Halloween Party Oct. 26 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Activities will include a pumpkin walk for prizes, fishing, costume contest, craft table and games. Each child will receive a pumpkin as well.

The event is put on by Uniontown Parks and Recreation.

“It’s for whoever wants to come to the party,” said volunteer Lynn Smith. “It’s everybody getting together to keep those old traditions alive.”

Along with activities there will be food and snacks.

“Cookies and cakes, popcorn balls, all kinds of stuff,” Smith said. “Nobody goes away with an empty bag.”
