Bulldogs XC run at St. Michaels

Colfax cross country runners rolled to Spokane Tuesday for a race on the hill at St. Michaels. The courses were shorter than standard with a 1.4 mile loop for the junor high races and a 2.8 for the high school.

Bulldog Tim Cornelius led Colfax with a 16:44 to place fifth behind the 15:26 win of Ermek Danielson of St. George’s.

Other finishers for the Bulldogs were Doug Wilson 21:35, and Thuc Nguyen 24:47.

Finishers for the junior high team were Levi Kellogg 9:41, Tom Cochrane 10:35 for the boys and Tayma Vanek 10:37 and Cassidi Shindler 12:55 for the girls.

Correction: Vanek's time last week in the race at Colfax was 10:40.
