Duo from Elberton performs at dinner

John Elwood and Sally Burkhart of Elberton entertained at Trinity Lutheran and Community Bible Churches’ Soup and Bread Supper Oct. 16.

The crowd enjoyed the music of their stringed instruments and songs of long ago. A lot of the older people sang along and remembered where they had heard these songs from in the past.

Grandparents and surrogate grandparents are getting ready to attend Endicott School’s Grandparent Day to be held at the school on Monday, Oct. 28, starting at 10 a.m.
