Giving Trees now in place

Taylor Larsen, a member of the Colfax High School Honor Society, stretches to place a star on top of the Giving Tree at US Bank Nov. 20. The tree has paper ornaments which list the needs of youngsters in the community and residents are encouraged to take one of the tags and return a wrapped present to the tree by Dec. 16. A Giving Tree also is located at the Post Office. Residents can also make donations to the Giving Tree project via an account at Sterling Savings.
