Palouse Cares Food Drive will start Saturday, Dec. 7, at 9 a.m. At least 50 volunteers are needed to go door-to-door to collect food. The goal is to get 2,500 pounds of food and $2,500 for the Colfax segment of the food drive.
The Palouse Cares Food Drive is the biggest single-day food drive on the Palouse. Colfax volunteers will gather at Rosauers and start going door-to-door.
A silent auction table at Rosauers invites residents to bid on items donated by area businesses. The auction will close Dec. 7 at noon. Proceeds from the auction go to the food drive.
