Students take planetarium trip

Colfax grade school students got far out of the classroom on Monday because of an effort by the Jennings Elementary Parent Teacher Organization and Friends of Whitman County Library.

In the newer gym at Jennings Elementary, a black, cushioned orb took over one corner, where inside kids entered into simulated space.

The digital planetarium from Mobius Science Center of Spokane was run by Aaron Berenbach, Education Coordinator, leading the students in a 45-minute digital exposition.
