Chase Bank offers meeting room

Chase Bank in Colfax will now offer its basement meeting room free for public use. Branch manager Jeffrey Mackey said the basement meeting area has been remodeled and can now seat about 40 people.

The room can be reserved for use during banking hours or during non-banking hours by appointment.

Part of the refurbishing included removal of storage vaults which were in the basement.

Mackey suggests the room uses could be for bridal or baby showers, club meetings or receptions.
