Direct Seeders set December meeting

A hosted breakfast will be prepared by the Top Notch Café for a meeting of the Palouse Direct Seeders Dec. 18 at the Colfax Methodist Church at 7 a.m.

Featured speakers are Rob Dewald of Ritzville discussing his direct seed system, and Dr. Frank Young of the USDA-Agricultural Research Service discussing fallow management using a stripper header to retain more residue for earlier seeding in chem fallow.

The meeting will adjourn at 9 a.m. Certified Crop Advisor credits have been applied for, and anyone is invited to attend.
