First Wind continues outreach program

Through its partnership with DonorsChoose.org, First Wind expanded its community outreach program and funded 43 projects at 31 schools in 2013 which reached and impacted nearly 2,300 students in host communities including Pullman and Tekoa.

At Sunnyside Elementary School in Pullman, First Wind’s contribution helped buy microscopes for a fifth grade science class.

First Wind also contributed to a Tekoa school project.

After a successful partnership during its first year, First Wind increased its funding to $15,000.
