RTOP offers

tickets for two

productions

Regional Theatre of the Palouse at Pullman now has tickets on sale for two upcoming productions. Neil Simon’s comedy “Barefoot in the Park” will be on stage Feb. 6-15, and the Palouse premiere of “Les Miserables” will be April 2-13.

The RTOP winter performance workshop will start Jan. 13. Instructors will be Tina McClure and Michael Todd. Enrollment will be limited.

WSU’s Floyd will report at CC luncheon

WSU President Elson S. Floyd will give a report at the Pullman Chamber of Commerce noon luncheon Jan. 14 at the Gladish Center in Pullman. He will give updates on university projects which will be of interest to the community in the new year.

Pullman Chamber of Commerce luncheons are on the second Tuesday of each month and provide information for local business people.

Food antibiotics set for league

session

Pullman League of Women Voters will host a public brown bag discussion with Dr. Douglas Call, professor of molecular epidemiology, Thursday, Jan. 16, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Congregational Church at 525 Campus Avenue.

Dr. Call focuses his research at the Paul G. Allen School for Global Animal Health on antibiotic resistance. He will discuss the use of antibiotics in US food animal production systems including their benefits, disadvantages and the latest policy changes.
