The February11 election is still weeks away. Ballots will not even be mailed until next week.

Still, it is an election that county residents should start thinking about.

First, three taxing entities want to raise their taxing cap. This takes the approval of the voter.

The county itself, the county library system and the Pullman hospital district want voter approval to raise more money by hiking their taxing rate cap.
