LaX student assembly recognizes respect

The Student of Character assembly for December was Jan. 8 in the pit. It opened with an announcement that students had collected $430 for a school in a third world country. “The Incredibles” team brought in the most money. The students had also collected 325 pounds of food for the food drive with the “Team Coug” group collecting the most food. The four teams of students were challenged to see which teams’ shoes weighed the most. The “Black Widow’s” shoes were the heaviest.
