Palouse city compost, dog permits expire

All 2013 City of Palouse compost permits, regardless of issue date, are now expired. Residents of Palouse are required to get one of the permits to use the town compost facility for dumping leaves, grass and soft vegetation.

The 2014 permits are now available at city hall for $15.

Also, Palouse dog licenses for 2013 are expired. New dog licenses for 2014 are available at $5 for spayed and neutered dogs and $10 for others. Dog owners are required to show proof of animals’ rabies vaccinations.
