Retirees assist teachers

Don Kackman, treasurer of Whitman County School Retirees’ Association, presents Colfax teacher Sharon Hall with a $200 check for classroom supplies. The group gave a total of $1,252 to classrooms in the county. Kelly Pollestad, Jill Brockmier, Niki Wolf and Penny Bettas, all of Pullman, also received checks.
