Tekoa Dollars for Scholars

The Tekoa Dollars for Scholars committee has been very busy during the past few months reorganizing to meet national standards. That reorganization is complete and now they are working hard to raise funds that will be awarded to Tekoa High School graduates who are pursuing a college degree.

Donovan Chase, Chief of the Tekoa Fire Department, surprised the group at their last meeting with a check for $1,250. The money was raised by the fire department at its annual dinner and auction, and Tekoa Dollars for Scholars was chosen to receive part of the proceeds.
