Four properties sold after tax foreclosures

Sale of four properties at the end of the year closed out the county’s tax foreclosure process for 2013. The county took possession of the properties after concluding the foreclosure procedure on properties where taxes had been unpaid for the past three years.

This year’s foreclosures were for properties with tax and interest debts due back to 2010.

The process this year began with 150 properties, according to Lori Nails of the treasurer’s office.
